When I left Taiwan for Los Angeles at 18, all I had was a suitcase, a dream, and a heart full of curiosity.

I was simply a teenager eager to build a life, experience freedom, and create my own path.
I graduated, built a career in digital marketing and eCommerce, and made America my home.
By all appearances, I was living the “American Dream.”
But beneath the surface, I felt a quiet emptiness — a sense that something essential was missing.
Something that hard work alone couldn’t fill.
Reconnecting with My Roots
Like most people, my journey wasn’t a straight line upward.
There were seasons of success and excitement — and seasons of doubt, loss, and confusion.
